Dan Barry has been drawn to creating mixed media drawings since he was a young person growing up in northern Wisconsin. He recently moved from Austin, TX, to south-central Pennsylvania. Dan’s love of vintage visual media has grown and developed throughout his career. Dan’s artworks combine the marks of his hand with vintage ephemera, both old and new. His artworks often explore themes of life’s difficult times and mortality. He considers much of the artwork that he creates to be an ambiguous journal of his lived experience. In his ongoing series, “IT PORTENDS,” the artworks are the artist’s personal response to the general climate of dread and chaos found in a polarized nation and current world events.More info: danbarryart.com | Instagram | Facebook We are at the precipice of a truly remarkable moment.
