Ben said he wanted to keep their relationship private and away from the scrutinizing eyes of social media. However, the actor knew that it wasn’t fair to expect Jennifer to do so, and he said in the documentary that they eventually found a way to make it work. “Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media,’” the actor said. “Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like you’re gonna marry a boat captain, and you go, ‘Well, I don’t like the water.’”

Jennifer also opened up about how there are some things Ben is not comfortable with, but he is still supportive of her doing the things she loves. “I don’t think [Ben] is very comfortable with me doing all of this,” she said. “But he loves me, he knows I’m an artist, and he’s gonna support me in every way he can because he knows you can’t stop me from making the music I made… he doesn’t want to stop me. But that doesn’t mean he’s comfortable being the muse.” The prying eyes of the media were harsh on Ben and Jennifer back when they were in a relationship during their younger years. Although Ben initially had his qualms about sharing bits and pieces of their personal life on social media, he and Jennifer seemed to have found a balance as the On The Floor hitmaker occasionally shares pictures and videos of them together.
