Bryan Johnson made headlines last year after announcing he’d start “Project Blueprint,” a series of treatments aimed at reversing his biological age and achieving the body of an 18-year-old. The process involves a strict 2,250-calorie vegan diet, daily exercises, counting his night-time erections, and undergoing different medical procedures, such as regular blood tests.

But it’s a trap in time and place.” Last July, however, the 46-year-old announced that he’d “discontinue” the therapy as he detected no benefits from it. “Young plasma exchange may be beneficial for biologically older populations or certain conditions,” Bryan wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter). “Does not in my case stack benefit on top of my existing interventions.” Nevertheless, the tech mogul is still undergoing other treatments to have the body of a teenager. As he announced on X last week, he thinks the process is yielding positive results.

His hair, now dark, also seems to have grown. In a subsequent post, the CEO asked X users to respond to a survey to indicate in which year he “peaked.” To his dismay, the winning option was 2018, which received 51% of votes compared to the 39% of people who answered he looks his best now.

Chances are that the 46-year-old didn’t find the answers that amusing, considering he reportedly spends around $2 million annually funding his care. This isn’t the first time Bryan has kept his followers updated on his experiment. In November, he took to X to write, “I got really skinny the first year of Blueprint and lost a lot of facial volume. We started Project Baby Face 10 months ago. How are we doing?” He accompanied the post with a mirror selfie. Before that, the billionaire announced, “Hearing my face is not a 18 years old’s; commencing project Baby Face. In case you’re wondering, we’ve focused on maximally slowing my speed of aging, now at .76 (ranking #1 on the leaderboard). Caloric restriction (25%) being a primary driver, which also has the harmless side effect of facial volume loss.”
