In an intimate and candid disclosure, the Australian-born actress, 44, revealed that she lost her virginity at the age of 35 and reminded people that there’s absolutely no age requirement or limit for sexual adventures. Rebel said she wrote in her upcoming memoir, ‘Rebel Rising,’ about losing her virginity at 35 to reassure youngsters that “not everybody has to lose their virginity as a teenager.”

You obviously don’t have to wait until you’re in your thirties like me, but you shouldn’t feel pressure as a young person.” The actress recalled feeling “embarrassed” about it when she was a teenager and would avoid conversations about the subject at the time. “There was one vague time, I think I told my best friend, ‘Oh, yeah, I just did it to just get it over with when I was like 23.’ Just to really avoid the questions,” she said.

What the hell? I’m going to look like the biggest loser.’” The Pitch Perfect star declared herself a “late bloomer,” but she noted that her sexual exploration would have been “very different” if she was born about two decades later.
